Our Activities

Claire Riley
Activities co-ordinator
“Mental stimulation is very important in both a nursing home and dementia setting. Everyone is encouraged to get involved and activities are adapted to suit our clients living with dementia.”
We employ a full time activities co-ordinator, Claire Riley, who cares for the mental stimulation and social needs of all our residents.
Claire delights in the time she spends with the people in our care and loves nothing more than organising sing-a-longs, garden parties and painting classes. She is always organising trips out, whether just for a coffee at local cafes or trips to shows and the cinema.
As well as these activities, we also provide:
- Television/video/radio
- Daily newspapers and magazines
- Day trips, excursions, leisure activities
- Visiting GP, hairdresser, chiropodist, dentist, physiotherapist, library and talking newspapers
